"Sizing shockingly did what it was supposed to do"
I ordered a fleece and a pair of hiking pants from ems.com, and somehow, against all online shopping odds, both fit exactly like I expected. I actually used the size chart, and it turned out to be accurate—no random tight spots, no sleeves made for someone with gorilla arms. Since returning stuff is one of my least favorite hobbies, this was a nice little win. Easy 5 stars from me.

"Still a solid backpack after a year"
I bought a hiking backpack from EMS last year, and it’s been really useful on a bunch of trips. It’s taken plenty of wear and tear, but the zippers and straps are still holding up just fine. Simple, sturdy, and does what I need it to do

"Refund came through, but they need to be quicker about it"
I returned a jacket because the sizing didn’t work for me. The return label was easy enough to use, and they did let me know they received it after a few days, so that part was fine.
The refund took about 10 days, maybe a little more, to actually show up on my card. I don’t mind waiting a reasonable amount of time, but I do think companies should be more upfront about the timeline and take responsibility for keeping customers updated instead of making us keep checking our accounts.
Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but it definitely wasn’t fast either. I’d probably shop there again if the price was right, but the refund process felt average and could use better communication.

"Package arrived, but I was a little uneasy after paying"
The package showed up and everything inside was fine, but the box did have a small dent on it. after I paid I started feeling a bit unsure about whether it would arrive in good shape, so I was relieved the items weren’t damaged.

I found exactly what I needed for less than I was seeing on other outdoor sites!! Shipping was reasonable too, which made the whole thing feel like a really solid deal!!! I’d definitely order from them again!!

"Usually Good Sizes, But Colors Were Missing"
I was able to find my size easily, which was nice. Most of the sizes were there, so that part was fine. My only complaint is that a few colors were out, and that was kind of annoying. I kept seeing colors I liked, but then they weren’t available, which was frustrating. Overall, sizing was good, but the missing colors were definitely a bit of a letdown.

I had to exchange a jacket for a different size, it ended up feeling like more work than it should have. It took a few days just to get a response, and then I had to send a couple follow-up emails because I wasn’t really sure what was happening with the exchange. The new jacket did eventually arrive, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but from my perspective the whole thing felt slow and a bit disorganized. Not the worst experience, but definitely not something I’d call smooth

Used the coupon on my order and it went through first try, which was nice. The discount matched what it said it would be, and checkout didn’t do anything weird or... yeah, straightforward.

"Solid gear that feels worth it"
I picked up a jacket and a few pairs of hiking socks from ems, and so far I’ve been happy with them. The jacket feels sturdy without being too bulky, and the socks have stayed comfortable after a couple of hikes. My take is that the prices are a little on the high side, but the quality seems to back it up, at least from what I’ve used so far...

I got my order from ems.com and, i was relieved everything was right. The sizes, colors, and items all matched what I picked, with nothing missing or swapped out. I’m always a little wary because dealing with customer service when something goes wrong is usually a headache, so it was nice not to have to contact anyone. Smooth experience overall.

"Photos were actually accurate"
I ordered a jacket from ems.com after staring at way too many options, already feeling mentally drained from trying to decide. Thankfully, the photos were pretty much exactly what showed up, the color, the fit, and even the small details all matched.
I really can’t stand when product pictures make something look way nicer than it is in person, but that wasn’t the case here. It made the whole decision feel a lot easier, which I definitely appreciated.

"My jacket ended up being on backorder..."
My jacket ended up being on backorder, so it didn’t ship as quickly as I hoped, which was definitely a little frustrating. That said, EMS actually kept me updated, which is more than I can say for a lot of places when something gets delayed. They let me know when it was moving again, and it showed up in good shape. It took longer than I wanted, but compared to how some companies handle backorders, I’d say they were fair about it

I got my order confirmation almost right away, and everything lined up with what I actually bought, so that part was easy. The updates after that were a little slow, which might bother me more if I was in a rush, but for this order it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, solid experience.
